This policy explains the limited technical and contact information involved when you use MakerGauge.

Calculator inputs
The current MakerGauge calculator performs calculations in your browser. We do not require an account, and calculator inputs are not intentionally sent to or stored by MakerGauge. Do not enter private customer details, payment information, passwords, or confidential files into calculator fields.
Technical information
Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals. This information may be used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain security.
Cookies and local storage
The first version of MakerGauge does not use advertising cookies and does not save calculator inputs to local storage. If analytics, advertising, preferences, or saved projects are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those features are enabled.
Email communications
When you email MakerGauge, we receive the address and information you choose to provide. We use it to respond, investigate corrections, and maintain a record of the conversation when reasonably necessary. We do not sell contact information.
Third-party links
Guides may link to external websites. Their privacy practices are controlled by their operators, not MakerGauge. Review those policies before providing personal information.
Data retention and rights
Technical logs are retained according to operational and security needs of our service providers. Email is retained while useful for support, legal, or recordkeeping purposes. Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information we control.
Children
MakerGauge is intended for business and hobby planning and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
