MakerGauge is an independent collection of calculators and guides for people who sell what they make. We started with 3D printing because a slicer can estimate grams and hours, but it cannot tell you what your time, machine wear, failed prints, packaging, and selling fees are worth.

What we are building

Our first tool is a transparent 3D print pricing calculator. It keeps material, machine time, energy, labor, risk, order costs, marketplace fees, and profit separate so every result can be explained. Future tools will expand carefully into laser cutting, CNC, and other small-scale digital fabrication workflows.

Our principles

• Show the formula. A result is more useful when you can see what moved it.
• Use real inputs. Defaults are examples, not claims about your shop.
• Keep commercial influence visible. Sponsorships and affiliate links will be labeled and will not change calculator results.
• Correct the record. Material errors are updated and noted when they affect a reader's decision.
